‍If you’re craving some deep relaxation and a break from the constant hustle, this extended Yin Yoga class is for you. This extended practice will focus on the Bladder Meridian, a key pathway for releasing tension and restoring balance. We’ll take our time, easing into longer-held poses that stretch along the spine and legs to release built-up stress and tension. By working these areas, you’ll encourage better energy flow, relieve tightness, and activate your parasympathetic nervous system.Â
We will begin with a guided meditation to quiet the mind and soothe the nervous system, preparing you to fully engage in the practice ahead. As you move through each asana, your attention will gently shift inward, focusing on your thoughts and energy, all while being enveloped in calming music and soothing scents.Â
‍
The slow, meditative nature of Yin Yoga triggers the parasympathetic nervous system, which is responsible for the "rest and digest" response. This activation promotes relaxation, reduces cortisol levels, and aids in releasing physical and mental tension. The gentle stretches in Yin Yoga help soothe the nervous system, leading to a state of profound relaxation and stress relief.
